Features

  • Does PracticeFirst track my practice time?

Studies have consistently demonstrated that it is the quality of your practice time that most impacts performance, not the quantity. We believe that real-time feedback on your performance is the most effective way to improve. We do not log your practice time.

  • Can I create custom exercises?

We have an extensive content library with over 28,000 exercises. This library is constantly growing, but we do not offer the ability to create custom exercises for individual subscribers. The custom exercise feature is available to music teachers at musicfirst.com/practicefirst.

  • Can I request a piece be added to the PracticeFirst repertoire library?

Yes! Simply fill out our “Contact Us” form with your suggestions. We are not able to guarantee that your piece will be added, but we appreciate your feedback and will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • I am a K-12 music teacher. Can I use PracticeFirst to track my students’ progress?

If you would like to use the full gradebook, assignment, and custom exercise features, visit musicfirst.com/practicefirst for a subscription to PracticeFirst available through MusicFirst.
